Shop! Benelux organised a retail Summit in Barcelona where members of various European countries gathered for the latest insights in retail Marketing technologies. The summit was a combination of presentations at the HP Experience Centre where the trends that drive disruption and the down town shop safari experience in Barcelona were combined.

The effectiveness of Instore communications depends on a variety of attributes. During the panel discussion and presentations a lot of emphasis was placed on the location, the materials used and the content of the campaign. Brands should work closely with retailers in designing and co-creating instore marketing materials to achieve positive results in purpose and campaign outputs. Suppliers impact marketing design and creations with new technologies and often are looking for new disruptive innovators who would like to test their innovations. At HP, the shop! members received custom examples of marketing innovations to steer customer interaction with digital ink, the successor of the QR code ad much more!
